Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced portfolio manager to oversee luxury residential properties in Manhattan, NY. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining high resident service standards, supervising building staff, and managing vendor contracts. The role also involves property inspections, financial reporting, budgeting, capital planning, and coordination with boards and internal teams to ensure seamless building and community operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in NYC residential property management for condominiums and cooperatives
- Proven skills in property, vendor, and maintenance management
- Strong resident relations and customer service orientation
- Professional demeanor and presentation
- Experience directing Union (Local 32BJ) staff
- Expertise in financial reporting and budgeting
- Knowledge of property regulations and compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Independent, proactive, and collaborative team player
- Experience advising boards on governance, staffing, operations, and financial matters
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field, and/or property management certification preferred.
