Delivery & Installation Associate

Position Summary

The Delivery & Installation Associate is responsible for safely delivering, installing, and setting up commercial food equipment at customer locations. This position plays an important role in creating a positive customer experience and represents Maxwell Food Equipment while working at customer facilities.

The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. This position requires regular driving, loading and unloading equipment, and hands-on installation work.

Key Responsibilities

· Safely load, secure, transport, unload, and deliver equipment to customer locations.

· Install and set up equipment according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.

· Inspect equipment before delivery and installation to identify damage, missing components, or other concerns.

· Safely operate company vehicles & equipment, including trucks with trailers attached, forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, dollies, and other material-handling equipment.

· Assist with receiving, staging, and moving equipment within the warehouse as needed.

· Communicate professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries and installations.

· Review completed installations with customers when appropriate and answer basic questions regarding equipment.

· Maintain company vehicles, trailers, tools, and installation equipment in a clean and organized condition.

· Follow all company safety procedures and applicable transportation requirements.

· Assist other team members with warehouse, delivery, installation, and general operational duties as needed.

Qualifications

· Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.

· Ability to safely back, maneuver, park, and position a truck and trailer in a variety of customer locations.

· Forklift certification preferred or willingness to become certified.

· Previous delivery, installation, construction, maintenance, warehouse, or similar hands-on experience preferred.

· Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use common hand and power tools.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing work correctly.

· Ability to read basic instructions, measurements, delivery documentation, and equipment information.

· Willingness to learn commercial food equipment and proper installation practices.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier equipment with assistance or appropriate material-handling equipment.

· Ability to push, pull, maneuver, and position large or heavy equipment.

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and work in various positions throughout the workday.

· Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and job-site conditions.

· Be flexible with daily schedules based on deliveries, installations, and customer needs.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
