Shipping Coordinator Position Summary
The Shipping Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations by managing outbound shipments, assisting with inbound shipments, and providing excellent customer communication. This role is responsible for printing shipping labels, scheduling shipments, tracking orders, and keeping customers informed on shipping timelines and delivery dates.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all outbound shipments and assist with inbound shipments.
- Print shipping labels and prepare shipping documents.
- Schedule pickups with carriers and track shipments.
- Communicate with customers regarding shipping timelines, tracking, and delivery updates.
- Work closely with the Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure orders ship on time.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and update the ERP system.
- Help resolve shipping issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with an ERP system.
- Knowledge of shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory.
- Customer service experience.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
