• Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and educators to develop personalized care plans that meet each individual’s unique needs.
• Maintain detailed records of care provided, progress notes, and any incidents or concerns.
• Create a positive atmosphere that encourages growth, learning, and emotional well-being for all residents.

Skills

• Strong background in caregiving for older individuals.
• Ability to provide care aid confidently and respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, team members, and external professionals.
• Experience managing behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies.
• Familiarity with established care programs and practices which enhances your ability to support developmental milestones.
