Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive lead generation and cold calling within assigned territories
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and tailored product demonstrations
- Manage a designated territory by planning sales routes, scheduling appointments, and conducting face-to-face meetings with prospects and existing customers
- Present compelling product demos and upsell solutions that meet client needs, leveraging technical knowledge and market insights
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, update account information, and analyze territory performance
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement targeted campaigns that support territory growth and brand awareness
- Other duties as assigned depending on operational needs
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or B2B sales, preferably in technology or related industries
- Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Demonstrated success in business development, lead generation, and territory management
- Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce or other CRM tools for tracking sales activities and customer interactions
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently and perform technical sales when required
- Experience in retail sales or inside sales is a plus but not mandatory; a proactive attitude is essential
