Duties
- Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Control access points with precision verifying identities and authorizations.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies by executing established procedures including fire safety, medical incidents or security threats.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any irregularities or incidents encountered during shifts.
- Perform background checks on potential employees or visitors as part of security clearance processes.
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV and access control systems.
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, conflict de-escalation techniques, and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to perform first aid, CPR, AED operation and handle emergency situations confidently.
- Excellent communication skills for conflict management and customer service interactions.
