Responsibilities
- Perform thorough exterior washing, including vehicle exterior cleaning and hand washing techniques to remove dirt and grime effectively.
- Execute vehicle paint correction procedures to restore paint clarity and gloss using automotive buffers and polishing tools.
- Conduct interior detailing by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces to achieve a spotless finish.
- Operate manual transmissions safely while driving vehicles within the auto detailing facility or during customer pick-up/drop-off processes.
- Utilize cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, vacuums, and auto buffers to ensure optimal vehicle presentation.
- Follow safe work practices consistently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks when handling equipment or moving vehicles to maintain efficiency and safety standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in an auto detailing facility or car wash environment is preferred but not required.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform vehicle exterior washing, buffing, and paint correction with precision using automotive buffers and polishing compounds.
- Familiarity with vehicle interior detailing techniques including vacuuming, cleaning surfaces, and applying protective treatments.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices, including proper handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, perform physical tasks involved in detailed cleaning processes regularly and remain on your feet throughout the work day.
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients when delivering completed vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is a MUST.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
