Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Family Nurse Practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, manage various health tests (COVID-19, blood, RSV, flu, etc.), and serve as the In-Charge of the Health and Wellness Center. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Family Medicine Care:**
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses for patients of all ages.
- Perform routine physical exams, wellness checks, and health screenings.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Prescribe medications and therapies as needed.
2. Health Tests & DiagnosticS
- Administer and interpret tests including but not limited to:
- COVID-19 testing
- Blood tests (CBC, metabolic panels, etc.)
- RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) testing
- Flu testing
- Ensure timely reporting and follow-up of test results with patients.
- Collaborate with lab personnel for accurate and efficient diagnostics.
3. Leadership of the Health & Wellness Center:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Health and Wellness Center, ensuring high-quality patient care and smooth functioning.
- Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to clinical and administrative staff.
- Ensure the implementation of health and wellness programs and initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with state and federal health regulations.
4. Patient Education & Support
- Provide patients and families with health education on disease prevention, management, and treatment options.
- Advocate for patient health and well-being through a holistic and preventative approach to care.
5. Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, specialists) to provide multidisciplinary care.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary.
- Maintain clear and accurate patient records and documentation.
6. Administrative Duties:
- Participate in the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Manage schedules, supplies, and resources to optimize clinic operations.
- Ensure accurate billing, coding, and documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and certification (FNP preferred).
- Minimum of [2] years of experience in family medicine or primary care.
- Proficiency in administering diagnostic tests and interpreting lab results.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
