Maximal Security Services LLC is seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Part-Time Weekend Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Union and Elizabeth, New Jersey.
This is a regular weekend position with 18 guaranteed hours per week. The selected officer will work a fixed schedule every weekend at two client locations.
This position offers 18 guaranteed hours per week. Officers who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and strong performance will have the opportunity to pick up additional shifts at our client locations throughout New Jersey.
Schedule
- Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Union, NJ)
- Sunday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Elizabeth, NJ)
Pay
- $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
- Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols.
- Monitor the property for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized individuals.
- Control access and verify identification when required.
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
- Complete all required digital reports, including patrol scans, Daily Activity Reports (DARs), and incident documentation using the company's mobile reporting application.
- Follow all site-specific post orders and company policies.
- Notify company management and emergency services when necessary.
- Provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey SORA License (Required)
- Reliable transportation to travel to both Union and Elizabeth locations.
- Valid Driver's License preferred.
- Must own a smartphone capable of running the company's patrol and reporting application.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and dependable attendance.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening, if required.
Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
