Your Role:
The Marketing team at Maxima is in search of a Field and Events Marketing Manager who is data-driven, highly organized, and experienced in managing in-person and virtual events tailored to enterprise B2B audiences. The ideal candidate thrives in a startup environment where curiosity and creativity fuel ambition through bold, high-impact programs.
This role focuses on bringing the Maxima brand to life, demonstrating our thought leadership and strategic advantage in the field through in-person events, virtual experiences such as webinars, and other field marketing programs.
You Will:
- Own and execute experiential programs that bring the Maxima message to CFOs, Controllers, and Accounting leaders at the most innovative enterprise companies.
- Design and manage a diverse calendar of field events, trade shows, webinars, dinners and executive programs aligned to sales priorities and revenue targets.
- Manage contracts, sponsorships, and negotiations for all in-person and virtual events, creating a balanced mix of programs that target accounting and finance decision-makers across key industries.
- Oversee event logistics end-to-end, including pre-event planning, on-site coordination, vendor management, and execution.
- Partner with Sales to align on target accounts, pre- and post-event outreach, and pipeline goals. Develop and manage post-conference nurture strategies to increase MQL-to-opportunity conversion.
- Track and analyze event performance, capturing both quantitative and qualitative results including logistics feedback, pipeline impact, and competitive insights to inform future planning.
- Project manage the creative development process with creative teams to build effective assets for event promotions and speaker presentations.
- Work with creative teams to build impactful event assets, promotional materials, and speaker presentations that elevate the Maxima brand.
- Manage the annual collection of swag and giveaway items for events and field campaigns.
- Travel up to 30 percent per year based on event schedules.
Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience in B2B SaaS field marketing, preferably within enterprise segments.
- Data and deadline-driven, with strong attention to detail and project management skills.
- Proven ability to plan and execute events that generate high-value pipeline and brand awareness.
- Strong collaboration skills, able to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
- Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and event logistics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in event content strategy and copywriting.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically as required by event schedules.
