Role Description
This is a full-time, Behavioral Health Technician role located in Orlando, FL. The Behavioral Health Technician will support children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder by implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Daily tasks include providing direct therapy, assisting with skill-building activities, tracking progress, and communicating effectively with families. The role involves fostering a safe, positive, and supportive environment to help children achieve their goals.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis principles.
- Experience or knowledge in Behavioral Intervention and Psychology.
- Excellent Communication skills to interact with families, team members, and supervisees effectively.
- Ability to follow detailed intervention plans and document progress with accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (preferred).
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain it within a designated timeframe.
