What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional, you will:
- Build positive relationships and provide companionship
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and personal hygiene
- Support meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
- Help individuals participate in community activities, social events, and recreational outings
- Assist with transportation to appointments, programs, and community events as needed
- Encourage independence, choice, and self-advocacy
- Document services provided and communicate important updates to the care team
- Promote a safe, healthy, and supportive environment

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous healthcare, caregiving, behavioral health, or direct support experience is preferred; however, candidates with a strong work ethic, compassion, and a desire to help others are encouraged to apply
- Must be able to pass required background screening
- Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to read, write, and document services provided
