We're looking for a lube service technician to perform oil changes, fluid top-offs, tire rotations, light bulb replacements, and inspections at our high-volume shop. Our ideal candidate has some previous auto technician experience and the ability to learn the maintenance requirements of a variety of different automobiles. Qualifications
- Ability to operate vehicle lifts, tools, and other garage equipment safely
- Experience working on automobiles or as a lubricant technician of a year or more is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- This position requires excellent customer service skills
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Perform Video inspections and digital inspections of every car that is serviced
- Perform oil changes and fluid checks on customer vehicles, including draining and replacing engine oil, checking and filling transmission, brake, power steering, and coolant fluids
- Offer suggestions to consumers for additional services based on mileage and vehicle history
- Track oil inventory and part usage, place reorders as necessary to keep the shop stocked
- Lubricate chassis components and check tire pressure and tread depth
- Clean the shop floor and all work areas, and ensure all safety regulations are followed
