Technical Sales Specialist, OEM Micro-Battery and Automotive Lens Business - REMOTE
Maxell Corporation of America is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist with comprehensive knowledge and experience in the OEM Micro-Battery and Automotive Lens Markets. In this role, you will develop and manage technical programs with strategic accounts for growth as well as identify new business opportunities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
− New project development tasks. Manage schedules and achieve launch requirements.
− Understanding of OEM product qualification especially in from concept to completion.
− Meet or exceed sales revenue.
− Develop strong relationships with strategic accounts and new business opportunities.
− Initiate and secure new business for the OEM Battery and Lens Automotive Markets to achieve year over year sales growth
− Manage and support existing account activity with forecasts, quotations, orders.
− Monitor and identify market trends, competitors, and new sales leads; attend trade shows.
Qualifications:
− Bachelor’s degree or related experience in business or technical field
− Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in regional or strategic account management
− OEM program management or technical background in battery or automotive lens industry required
− Proven history of meeting/exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quota
− Understanding of Industrial OEM product and/or Automotive Industry qualification process preferred
− Excellent interpersonal and client-relations skills required
− Strong presentation skills
− Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Adobe Pro
− Travel Required
Salary Range: 95k to 120K depending on experience.
