Roll Balancer (Assembler)

Employment Type:  Full-Time, First Shift, Mon–Thurs: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM                    Friday Overtime as Needed, No Saturday/Sunday work

We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Roll Balancer & Assembler. 

Position Overview:.

In this role, you will be responsible for balancing precision rollers to exact specifications, performing assembly tasks, and ensuring each product meets our high-quality standards before shipping to customers. You will work closely with our production and quality teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in the balancing and assembly process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate dynamic balancing equipment to achieve precise roller balance.
• Assemble components including bearings, shafts, and other hardware.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools.
• Maintain detailed records of balance and assembly work.
• Follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Identify visual defects or incorrect builds based on roller description.
• Secure rollers in crates for transportation.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Operate hoist to move rollers to each operation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good verbal communication skills for clear interaction with team members and supervisors.
• Experience with precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
• Basic math skills and understanding of tolerances.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Bending, stooping, crouching frequently.
• Ability to use electric palm hammer, drills, and a variety of small hand tools.
• Manual dexterity for handling small parts and tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
