Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Maintenance Technician with strong experience in machine tool maintenance, troubleshooting, and alignment. This role combines technical expertise in CNC systems with hands-on machining knowledge, ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, including mills and lathes. Additional equipment includes dust collectors, saws, presses, balancers, and manual lathes.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct machine alignment, leveling, and geometric accuracy checks using precision measuring tools.
- Maintain and calibrate spindles, ball screws, linear guides, and other critical machine components.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve machine performance.
- Keep detailed maintenance records and update maintenance schedules.
- Support installation and commissioning of new CNC machines.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of CNC machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in machine alignment, leveling, and geometric calibration.
- Practical machining knowledge and ability to run CNC equipment for testing purposes.
- Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar control systems (preferred).
- Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., dial indicators, laser alignment systems, test indicators).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
