Responsibilities
- Perform thorough residential or commercial cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure spaces are spotless and hygienic
- Manage kitchen cleaning tasks such as dishwashing, countertop sanitation, appliance cleaning, and maintaining overall kitchen hygiene standards
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency
- Conduct floor care activities such as carpet cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and polishing to maintain pristine flooring surfaces
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including patio or garden cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance
- Practice proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to ensure safety for yourself and others
- Maintain organized housekeeping supplies and inventory while adhering to sanitation protocols and safety guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by respecting privacy, responding promptly to requests, and ensuring a positive experience for residents or guests
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or commercial cleaning is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability in floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Hands-on experience with laundry operations and linen management
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures related to custodial work
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for handling exterior cleaning tasks effectively
- Familiarity with heavy lifting practices to safely move furniture or equipment as needed
- Previous roles involving housekeeper management or supervisory responsibilities are advantageous but not required
