We are currently seeking a mechanically inclined, hands-on professional to join our Plainview, NY Service Center as a Tool Repair Technician.
Position Summary:
The Tool Repair Technician will be responsible for evaluating, disassembling, cleaning, and repairing a range of MAX USA CORP products, including rebar tiers, pneumatic tools, high-pressure systems, and gas-powered tools. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to grow with an established industry leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose tool issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Disassemble and reassemble tools with precision and attention to detail.
- Clean and prepare parts using washing and degreasing equipment.
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of tools.
- Communicate repair estimates and service updates to internal teams and customers.
- Support shipping/receiving and logistics operations related to repair orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical and technical aptitude is required; prior experience in tool or small engine repair is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable.
- Willing to train the right candidate.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week with overtime as needed
