What You'll Do:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our Operations Team as a Regional Practice Manager—Oral Surgery. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong passion for building relationships, supporting practice operations, and leading high-performing teams. The Regional Manager is responsible for managing the overall delivery of the optimal patient experience within a designated region. S/he will oversee the operations, review, and evaluate processes, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance. S/he will also provide guidance, address, and resolve problems and issues.
The successful candidate will be able to:
Operations Management
-Develop, review, and improve administrative systems, policies, and procedures.
-Monitor and track site level performance to identify areas of improvement to proactively engage departmental intervention.
-Work with the accounting and management teams to set budgets, approve and monitor spending, and process payroll and
other expenses.
-Support the team leads in successfully managing the integration of acquired staff into the MAX-SSM processes and
procedures.
-Resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
-Ensure the appropriate handling of office and system repairs by contacting appropriate vendors/building management as
needed.
-Maintain computer systems, hardware, and software updates, by working closely with IT staff.
Human Resources Management
-Meet with surgeons regularly regarding any office issues and/or new ideas and suggestions to ensure office growth and
financial viability.
-Ensure that staff schedules, including vacation absences, are adequately maintained, and managed to the needs of the
business.
-Work closely with Human Resources on employee-related issues to ensure adherence to employment laws.
-Provide objective evaluations of staff at the appropriate intervals for probationary employees and annually as required by
Human Resources.
-Inform employees of new policies and other changes. Hold accountable to deadlines for compliance to departmental needs.
Communication
-Serve as liaison between Corporate, surgeons and office team leader. Responsible for developing and maintaining open
lines of communication that enable the region to function swiftly and efficiently.
-Weekly meeting with each team lead (individual meetings) – Weekly report due to Sr. Director of Ops.
-Assist lead in planning and executing monthly team meeting (agenda driven) by collaborating with surgeon. Ensure follow-
up within 48 hours of meeting.
-Provide streamlined channels for employee suggestions and feedback.
-Ensure regular communication with management regarding systems to ensure efficient handling of billing procedures.
-Maintain and ensure appropriate working relationships with staff and vendors.
-Serve as the ambassador of MAX-SSM mission and core values. Model professional behavior in terms of appearance,
communication, reliability, and accountability.
What You’ll Bring:
-High school diploma or GED is required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare of business administration is
preferred.
·Minimum of 3 to 5 years of practice management experience.
·Previous experience in the healthcare field; Oral Surgery a plus.
·Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for conveying complex ideas and building rapport.
·Must have valid driver license, reliable transportation and willing to travel within region and for team meetings.
·Initiative-taking and purposeful with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as medical office software
