Max Stucco is a leading provider of high-quality stucco and plaster services in the Phoenix area. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Stucco Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both residential and commercial stucco applications, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional work on every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stucco Application: Apply a variety of stucco finishes (including traditional, acrylic, and synthetic stucco) to both interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, ensuring a smooth and durable finish.
- Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for stucco application, including cleaning, repairing, and priming, to ensure proper adhesion and a lasting result.
- Mixing and Maintaining Materials: Mix and apply stucco, ensuring that the proper consistency is maintained for smooth and consistent application. Monitor and control material usage.
- Finish Work: Smooth and finish the stucco to the desired texture or appearance, including creating decorative designs and patterns when required.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness. Inspect work areas and completed tasks for defects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and client expectations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including project managers, laborers, and apprentices, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
- Job Site Safety: Adhere to all safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow all safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in stucco or plaster application, with a strong understanding of different stucco materials, tools, and techniques.
- Skills: Proficiency in trowel handling, surface preparation, and the application of stucco materials. Ability to read and follow project plans and blueprints is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in varying weather conditions. Physical stamina and dexterity are essential for handling equipment and working in various job site environments.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality control and the ability to deliver high-quality finishes consistently.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, including the ability to understand and follow instructions and work effectively with a team.
- Valid Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites around the Phoenix area.
- Preferred: Experience with both traditional and synthetic stucco systems.
