We are hiring a Material Handler at our Concord, NC location.
Responsibilities:
- Move raw material between warehouse and production
- Move finished goods between production and warehouse/shipping
- Locate orders in warehouse and prepare them for shipment
- Store materials in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring that items are organized efficiently and safely to facilitate easy retrieval
- Operate equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain and adhere to safety standards
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments to coordinate tasks, address issues, and ensure smooth operations within the warehouse/production
- Demonstrate a deliberate focus on Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- High School Diploma is preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience driving a tow motor (Raymond Reach and Counterbalance)
- Raymond Reach and Counterbalance certified
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- A positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to work individually or in a team environment
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to lift objects weighing 30-50 pounds safely and effectively, with the capability to lift more if required
- Maintain good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Sustain physical endurance for fast-paced work
- Operate and work near machinery safely
