Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using Toast POS systems
- Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties using POS systems like Toast.
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service
- Experience in upselling, sales techniques, and guest relations to enhance the dining experience
- Excellent communication skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate cash handling and billing
