We are looking for someone who understands appliance installation from firsthand field experience and has successfully progressed into leading technicians, subcontractors, and regional operations.
Candidates without previous hands-on residential appliance installation experience will not be considered.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee appliance installation operations across Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
This position is based in the Charlotte, NC area and reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.
The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven leader who began their career as a residential appliance installer, developed hands-on technical expertise installing built-in residential appliances, and later advanced into leadership, operations management, or field service management roles.
This is not a traditional Operations Manager role. We are specifically seeking someone who has successfully progressed from appliance installer to operations leader and can effectively lead subcontractors, technicians, and regional field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day regional appliance installation operations.
- Manage subcontractor performance, accountability, and service quality.
- Conduct field visits, operational audits, and quality reviews.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and operational partners.
- Resolve escalated operational issues quickly and professionally.
- Recruit, develop, and support contractor networks throughout the region.
- Monitor KPIs, installation quality, service levels, and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement, growth, and expansion.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership on regional strategy, performance, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Must have personally installed built-in residential appliances before advancing into leadership or operations management.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate a clear career progression from Appliance Installer to Leadership or Operations Management.
- Experience installing refrigerators, ranges, wall ovens, cooktops, dishwashers, ventilation systems, wine units, and other built-in residential appliances.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership, field management, operations management, or service management experience.
- Experience managing installation technicians, subcontractors, or field-based teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Luxury appliance installation experience.
- Experience with premium residential and custom home projects.
- Experience managing multi-state or regional operations.
- Background in appliance installation, logistics, construction services, or closely related industries.
- Experience managing subcontractor-based field operations.
- Business development mindset with the ability to identify operational growth opportunities.
