About the Role
Client Experience & Customer Service
- Deliver an elevated, personalized client experience that reflects Bloomingdale’s service standards and MaxMara’s luxury positioning
- Act as a trusted style and brand advisor, supporting stylists and stepping in seamlessly in the absence of store management
- Build client confidence through engaging, interactive, and relationship-driven selling experiences
- Proactively acquire new clients while nurturing and retaining an existing client book, consistently meeting conversion and loyalty goals
- Resolve client concerns swiftly and professionally, always prioritizing satisfaction and brand integrity
- Anticipate client needs and exceed expectations without hesitation
- Consistently achieve or exceed individual and store sales goals, including all KPI targets
- Maximize every client interaction to drive long-term loyalty and repeat business
- Maintain a polished, positive, and professional presence while supporting company initiatives and business objectives
Team & Partnership
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment through clear, respectful communication with peers, Management, and Corporate partners
- Support team success by sharing product knowledge, client insights, and best practices
Operations & Business Excellence
- Adhere consistently to all company policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Demonstrate working knowledge of POS systems and retail tools
- Communicate store-related issues to the Store Manager when unable to resolve independently
- Perform opening and closing duties as required
- Utilize downtime effectively to support sales floor readiness, client follow-up, and operational needs
- Uphold accountability for safeguarding company assets and minimizing shrink
Visual Standards & Product Knowledge
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually elevated selling environment aligned with brand standards
- Ensure product presentation is consistently on brand and client ready
- Possess strong, up-to-date knowledge of all product categories to confidently advise clients
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years of retail experience, luxury retail strongly preferred
- RTW and/or footwear experience a plus
- Proven success in luxury or high-end retail environments
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-based environment
- Proficient computer skills
