- Oversee daily operations of cutting machines (CNC saws, bridge saws, waterjets, etc.)
- Manage and supervise cutting machine operators and support staff
- Plan and prioritize cutting schedules based on production demands and project timelines
- Ensure accurate interpretation of shop drawings, measurements, and CAD files
- Monitor machine performance and ensure optimal productivity and minimal downtime
- Coordinate with templating, fabrication, and installation teams for workflow alignment
- Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure precision cutting
- Maintain inventory of blades, tools, and cutting materials
- Troubleshoot machine issues and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Train and develop team members to improve skills and efficiency
- Track KPIs such as yield, waste reduction, and machine utilization
