Cashier/Server/barista

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, process transactions accurately, and contribute to the overall success of our retail store. At least 2 years of restaurant service experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and eagerness to assist them
• Be familiar with our products and checkout system to ensure a smooth flow of customers
• Maintain a clean workspace and uphold food safety standards constantly
• Operate our espresso machine and craft customers' coffee orders to their liking
• Pack and organize catering orders, with flexibility and efficiency to prioritize new orders as they come in throughout the day
• Communicate clearly and consistently with team members during rushes, both in front and back of house

Skills:

• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Proficiency in basic math for accurate transaction processing
• Strong organizational abilities to manage customer flow and maintain a tidy workspace
• Prior experience in customer service
• Ability to upsell products and services to customers
• Familiarity with point of service and online ordering systems
• Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with customers

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages to customers following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the Aloha POS system
- Assist in restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages

Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions accurately
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Experience in catering or brewing is an advantage
