What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd shift Lead QC position at Max Apparel?
We are seeking 1 dynamic and motivated leaders to join our team as in Quality Control. The ideal candidate will excel in guiding teams, ensuring processes are followed, and serving as the primary point of contact for team questions and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals
- Coach and support a growing quality control team
- Assist with Quality Control issues and keep orders moving
- Track status list and assign work to team members
- Collaborate with the Manager on process improvements
- Ensure adherence to established processes and procedures
- Act as the go-to resource for team inquiries and guidance
Qualifications:
- Bilingual is preferred (English/Spanish) if not must be willing to find ways to communicate like apps or translators
- Dependable
- Previous leadership or managerial experience is preferred (does not have to be work experience but could be other community activities. Will train right person)
- Ability to lead by example and motivate team
- Detailed oriented with a positive attitude
- Not afraid to direct or instruct employees as needed
- Good time management of self and expecting same of others
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment yet able to complete most task on your own
- Knowledge in computers and the ability to navigate simple office orders, emails and word
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to foster a collaborative and productive team environment
- Employee relations experience is not required- Manager and HR take this role. This position is for employee guidance
Job Type: Full-time
$17.50-19.50 2nd shift 11am-9:30pm Monday-Thursday Sometime in September up to 50 hours by adding hours on Fridays till possibly Early-January
