The Industrial Services Team Lead is responsible for leading field crews performing warehouse racking installations, modifications, and tear-downs. This role is hands-on while also providing leadership, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to customer expectations. The Team Lead is the main point of contact on-site and is responsible for crew performance, quality, and progress.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Execution
- Lead and work alongside crews performing:
- Warehouse racking installation and tear-downs
- Beam adjustments and reconfigurations
- Equipment relocation and general warehouse services
- Assign daily tasks and ensure efficient use of labor and materials
- Read and interpret layout drawings and job scope
Project Oversight & Reporting
- Track daily and weekly job progress against schedule
- Provide clear progress updates to both internal teams and external customers
- Ensure jobs are completed on time and within scope
- Communicate issues, delays, and changes proactively
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams on-site
Quality & Safety
- Ensure all work meets company standards and is completed correctly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Manage site safety program and tool program
Crew Development
- Train and support team members in field operations
- Promote accountability, productivity, and teamwork
Qualifications
- Experience with warehouse racking systems (installation, tear-down, adjustments)
- Prior experience leading or supervising crews preferred
- Ability to read layouts and job instructions
- Ability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts
- Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding environments
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites
Work Environment
- Field-based at customer warehouse locations
- Frequent lifting, climbing, and use of tools and equipment
- Travel may be required depending on project needs
Salary : $22 - $27
