Description: Master Craftsman - Bench Jeweler
The primary role of the Master Craftsman is to execute high-quality jewelry repairs and fabrication using precious metals and gemstones. This position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain consistent quality while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Mavilo Wholesalers is seeking an experienced bench jeweler who is dependable, process-driven, and takes pride in producing clean, durable work. The ideal candidate can manage a steady workflow, meet turnaround expectations, and contribute to maintaining high standards across all repairs and custom work.
The applicant needs to be experienced in but not limited to:
- Large diamond setting
- Micro pave diamond setting
- Precious gemstone setting
- Setting Full Layouts
- Bezel and Flush setting
- Ability to execute various prong styles with refinement
- Hand wirework
- Platinum restoration
- Complex ring sizing
- General assembly, soldering, and repair
Equipment proficiencies:
- Laser Welder
- GRS Graver Machine
- Microscope
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive years of fine jewelry craftsmanship and repair experience- Not an entry level position
- Willing to work seasonal retail hours which may include Sundays in December
- Strong communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
Salary: Based on experience and TBD.

- Monday through Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm

- Tampa, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Must be available for in-person Bench Test
