As a People Resource Coordinator II, you’ll play a key role in supporting our HR operations and ensuring a smooth employee experience from onboarding to payroll. You’ll handle day-to-day administrative HR functions, assist with new hire processes, maintain employee data, and provide guidance on HR procedures. Location/Schedule: This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule.
Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
This position supports the daily operations of the People & Leadership (HR) team by ensuring all team member information, documentation, and transactions are accurate and up to date.
Coordinate and process onboarding documentation, including I-9 verification and background checks.
Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS system.
Support payroll functions by assisting with timekeeping, PTO adjustments, and corrections.
Process employment changes such as transfers, promotions, and terminations in partnership with HR Partners.
Assist with benefits enrollment, status changes, and general inquiries.
Respond to team member questions about policies, procedures, and systems.
Support compliance initiatives and ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all HR data handling.
Partner closely with HR Generalists and other HR team members to ensure seamless coordination across all HR functions.
You’ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:
2+ years of HR experience in administrative or generalist support functions.
Hands-on experience with HR processes such as onboarding, I-9 verification, background checks, payroll entry, and employee data management.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Working knowledge of HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.

Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $24.00–$26.00/hour DOE and Bonus Opportunities
The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base pay, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
