Facilities Technician 1 - Denver and Brighton, CO

Location/Schedule: This role supports a 24/7 operation and is cell-phone eligible.

Some after-hours, weekend, or holiday work may be required based on urgent service needs.

Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities

The Facilities Technician performs preventive maintenance, repairs equipment and building systems, and responds to maintenance needs across store locations to ensure uninterrupted operations.

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools; reassemble equipment as needed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure stores and equipment operate properly.
• Complete basic trade work including electrical, plumbing, and general building repairs.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electronic components, pipe systems, machinery, and fixtures.
• Use a wide range of tools—from standard hand tools to precision testing instruments.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine appropriate corrective actions using manuals, blueprints, and reference materials.
• Paint or repair building structures including roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, drywall, and additional surfaces.
• Review gauges, meters, and indicators to ensure machinery is functioning correctly.
• Maintain and repair specialized equipment used in food service areas.
• Perform general cleaning and upkeep of buildings or properties as needed.
  
  

You’ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:

• 1 years of experience in facilities maintenance, repair work, or a related field.
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and general trade skills.
• Ability to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and follow maintenance processes with accuracy.
• Physical capability to lift up to 150 lbs, work at heights, use ladders, and perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfort working both indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with store teams.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Cherwell.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $22.00–$25.00/hour DOE and Bonus Opportunities

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
