What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative - Canvassing position at Maverick Windows?
Maverick Windows is rapidly growing and looking for new talent to join our team! We are looking for an enthusiastic Canvasser to talk to home-owners about energy-efficient window replacement products and services. The canvasser is primarily responsible for approaching people at home so they should be comfortable with enthusiastic in person communication. They will work with home-owners to educate them on how we might help them improve their homes as well as liaison between our sales team to set home consultation appointments.
Key Responsibilities
- Door to door customer relationship building to promote Maverick Windows products
- Attend events, such as trade shows, and retail marketing events
- Cover assigned territory during scheduled shifts.
- Acquire customer contact information for product demonstration and generate additional leads by asking for referrals.
- Report daily results to field management.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Canvassing Lead Manager
THIS IS A BASE PAY COMMISSIONS POSTION ($17-$25/hr)
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A background or interest in sales
- The ability to provide information on a range of products
- Someone who can intimately relate to people face-to-face and sell an appointment for the company's products and services
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work outside in varying climates.
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends.
- Be able to be on feet/walk for long periods of time.
