GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Coordinate and maintain the Student/Trainer program, insuring efficiency, utilization, and driver retention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Student/Trainer Assignments - Assign students to trainers weekly. Work directly with Road Trainers and Operations to coordinate student pickups. Utilize rental car, flight, and bus options to determine what is most efficient and cost effective. Determine when Road Trainers are available and when students should travel. Coordinate student drop-offs for final evaluations and communicate with students and trainers about all travel arrangements. Teach "Crossing the Bridge" Class weekly to students; act as point of contact to all students from completion of Crossing the Bridge class to solo date.
Maintain and Audit Training Dashboards/Data - Ensure Dashboard is current with all student and trainer information. Audit data for anomalies and reporting challenges. Work closely with management and IT to develop solutions to challenges.
Student Paperwork and Training Hours – Ensure all students are provided proper paperwork to document training data- utilizing Luma learning tools to assist. Utilize Lytx to validate training hours prior to the student completing the trainer truck.
Assign lodging for inbound applicants. Assign and manage overflow to offsite hotels; maintain hotel spreadsheets for cost tracking and utilization. Assist in the creation of department action plans that support the company's strategic business plan. Ensure company confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area, e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal working conditions as found within an office setting, wherein there is controlled temperature and a low noise level, plus a minimum of distractions. May require overnight travel at times.
