Business Systems Analyst – Laboratory Informatics Systems
Contract - Hybrid in Boston - Must be local to Boston
NO C2C - Must be able to work without sponsorship
- This role presents an exciting opportunity to work as a Business Systems Analyst driving integration of laboratory informatics systems
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Primary BSA for integration activities related to laboratory IT systems.
- Develop and maintain detailed business requirements, process documentation, and workflows specific to integration and project intake activities.Coordinate key project intake: requirements gathering, business need validation, prioritization, and scheduling of integration workstreams.
- Collaborate with scientific and technical partners to assess, vet, and triage new requests, ensuring alignment with strategic direction for digital laboratory transformation.
- Facilitate scheduling and downstream tracking of lab systems integration projects
- Provide expert guidance, documentation, and training on integration processes and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 5 Years as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably supporting integration activities and project intake in a pharmaceutical R&D or laboratory environment.
- Strong background in laboratory informatics systems and lab instrument software desired.
- Excellent facilitation, triage, and scheduling skills with effective communication across cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated skills in process improvement and workflow documentation.
- Strong customer and stakeholder focus.
- Experience supporting large-scale, enterprise IT systems integration is preferred.
