About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Millwright to ensure the reliability and optimal performance of our machinery and equipment. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining operational efficiency through proactive maintenance, repair, and precision alignment of critical systems. Your expertise will directly contribute to minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Responsibilities- Execute the installation, relocation, and reconstruction of machinery, adapting methods to overcome challenges.
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair test loops to maintain system integrity.
- Perform laser alignments to ensure machinery operates within precise specifications.
- Fabricate and source machine repair parts, ensuring timely availability for maintenance activities.
- Operate machine tools, including lathes and milling machines, to create or modify components as needed.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Utilize a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments, to perform tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to address equipment issues and optimize performance.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a four-year Mechanic Millwright Apprenticeship or a two-year Associate Degree in Mechanical Technology.
- Proficiency in operating lathes, milling machines, and boring mills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
Preferred Skills
- Four years’ experience in the Mechanic Millwright repair field.
- Experience with laser alignment techniques.
- Knowledge of various machine tools, including conventional and numerical-controlled equipment.
Salary : $40 - $46
