What We Offer
The Document Control Clerk supports the accuracy, organization, and flow of all controlled documents used in the production environment. This role ensures manufacturing teams have access to the most current drawings, work instructions, specifications, and revision-controlled documents required to build products correctly and safely.
Working closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality, the Document Control Clerk maintains document integrity and helps ensure the production floor remains aligned with approved processes.
Key Responsibilities
May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods. The Document Control Clerk supports the accuracy, organization, and flow of all controlled documents used in the production environment. This role ensures manufacturing teams have access to the most current drawings, work instructions, specifications, and revision-controlled documents required to build products correctly and safely.
Working closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality, the Document Control Clerk maintains document integrity and helps ensure the production floor remains aligned with approved processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and distribute controlled documents, including drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper revision status of all controlled documents
- Coordinate with Engineering to issue and track document revisions
- Notify relevant departments of document updates and changes
- Maintain document change logs and distribution records
- Archive obsolete documents in accordance with retention policies
- Control the release of drawings and documentation to the production floor
- Collect, verify, and gate all required documentation for assembly
- Ensure production teams are working from current and approved documentation
- Prepare labels and required shipping documentation for each unit
- Coordinate with Project Managers to create accurate packing lists
- Maintain and update the master shipping and production schedules
- Prepare skid assignment paperwork for use by the shipping team
- Send shipment notifications to leadership upon pickup
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic understanding of inventory control procedures
- Ability to understand and follow all safety requirements and guidelines
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across warehouse, purchasing, and external vendors
- Proficient keyboarding and data entry skills
- Highly organized with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Engineering background
- Quality assurance background
- ISO understanding
- Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to navigate the warehouse and reach items both high and low.
- Prolonged periods sitting, standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and work at heights for extended periods.
- Prolonged periods standing on the manufacturing floor and sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must have vision correctable to 20/20 and be able to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, boots, gloves, etc.).
- Duties are performed in a loud production setting subject to extreme temperatures. Some duties may be required to be performed outside.
