Production Coordinator

Location: Raleigh, NC
Maverick Metal & Roof Supply is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Coordinator to support daily production and delivery operations. This role ensures customer orders are accurate, scheduled properly, and delivered on time while serving as a key link between sales, warehouse, drivers, and purchasing.
Responsibilities:
- Review sales orders for accuracy and material availability
- Schedule and prioritize orders based on timelines and delivery routes
- Coordinate daily picking and loading of trucks
- Schedule delivery routes and confirm delivery times with customers
- Monitor order status from start to finish
- Communicate delays, shortages, or changes proactively
- Coordinate with purchasing to maintain proper inventory levels
- Assist with resolving delivery or job-site issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and production updates
- Schedule and coordinate drivers to create the most efficient delivery routes, maximizing time, productivity, and on-time deliveries
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in production, logistics, or building materials preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with inventory or order management systems preferred
