Role Description This full-time LPC/LPCC role is a hybrid position based in Sylvania, OH, with opportunities for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing individual and possibly group psychotherapy, conducting intake assessments, and developing treatment plans aligned with best practices and ethical guidelines. The clinician will monitor client progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Additional tasks may include collaborating with prescribers for medication management coordination, participating in case consultations, and engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with clinical approaches.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as an LPC or LPCC in the state of Ohio, in good standing, with eligibility to provide independent or supervised clinical services.
- Demonstrated skills in conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing evidence-based psychotherapy to diverse client populations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with prescribers and other mental health professionals to coordinate psychotherapy and medication management.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills, including accurate recordkeeping and adherence to confidentiality, legal, and ethical standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build therapeutic rapport and maintain professional boundaries.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, including basic proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health, or a closely related field; completion of required supervision hours as applicable.
