Privately owned and operated by licensed professionals who work in the field and are passionate about providing quality care in the face of the current deficit of mental health providers. We offer psychotherapy and medication management for ages 5-99 [psychotherapy starting at age 7]. Our current team is made up of a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and a Physician. We are looking to expand our therapy services and have an office available for a new therapist to join our team!
This is a W2 position, with a competitive wage and flexible schedule. Credentialing, EHR, billing, and comfortable, private office space included. No productivity requirements, no unpaid time for meetings, and opportunities for case consultation and support for both employee and patient. Biweekly pay. Our practice is in network with many insurance company’s which makes accepting new patients simple and low stress!
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Counselor based in Toledo, OH, with the flexibility to perform some duties remotely. The Counselor will provide individual and group therapy, conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and offer crisis intervention as needed. The role includes maintaining accurate client records, collaborating with other mental health professionals, and ensuring adherence to ethical and legal guidelines. Additionally, the Counselor will participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to best support clients.
Qualifications
- Excellent counseling and therapy skills, including the ability to establish rapport and create a safe, supportive environment.
- Strong assessment and treatment planning capabilities.
- Proficiency in written documentation, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses, therapeutic modalities, and crisis intervention techniques.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Licensed or license-eligible in clinical or counseling psychology, social work, or a related field (e.g., LPC, LPCC, LCSW).
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
- Experience working with diverse populations and individuals with varying needs is preferred.
