ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The duties listed below are examples of the work typically performed by an employee in this position.
- Directly supervise dealers.
- Monitor all procedures governing the opening and closing of games and shift changes.
- Ensure that games are supplied with adequate and operable equipment.
- Ensure that the integrity of the game is protected at all times.
- Communicate with incoming/outgoing shift supervisors about players.
- Report violations, irregularities or suspicious activities to Director of Table Games, Surveillance, Security, or MOD.
- Make credits and pit fills when needed.
- Promote positive customer and employee relations.
- May explain and interpret operating rules of house to Casino guests.
- Provide assistance and expertise when dealing with concerns or disputes between customers and the game/house.
- Tend to the needs of the players, such as drinks, players card, etc. by communicating with other departments.
- Watch players for intoxication, card counters, or other suspicious activities.
- Record high action players.
- Must make sure the dealers are dealing all game types according to the procedures set by the casino.
- Records Table chip tray inventories at the beginning and end of shift.
- 24 Hour Drop
- Verifies accuracy of fills brought to or credit taken from a gaming table chip tray.
- Safeguards contents of table tip tray.
- Observes opening and closing of games and monitors games operation.
- Fill in credit slips/guest drafts.
- Title 31 training, re-training, and compliance.
- Performs related and/or other duties as required.
- Be 21 years of age and High School graduate or GED
- Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada Gaming Card.
- In -depth knowledge of 21, 3 Card Poker, Craps and roulette.
- Must be knowledgeable with all State Gaming rules and regulations.
- Honesty and Integrity.
- Title 31 Training.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
- Must be able to make quick decisions.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must provide excellent customer service and respond calmly.
- Must have experience in employee scheduling, training, disciplinary actions, and supervising.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of all table games and gaming regulations.
- Ability to perform certain math skills in a timely manner.
- Must have at least two years previous experience of related casino experience.
- Must be able to stand or walk for 8 hours.
