How You'll Succeed
In this role you will:
- Proactively takes responsibility and performs engineering maintenance and repair. Uses technical skills to efficiently service, repair, replace and protect the physical assets of the casinos.
- Monitor all engineering equipment to ensure the safety and comfort of casino customers and employees.
- Respond promptly to requests for engineering assistance.
- Maintain clean equipment and equipment rooms.
- Ensure that daily work logs are accurate and current.
- Keep all equipment operating properly.
- Snow removal in all areas at all properties.
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with guests and coworkers.
- Wear and maintain all uniforms properly.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Use any necessary safety equipment.
- Follow security policies and procedures. Perform duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- Flexible schedule that includes evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous Maintenance experience and knowledge that includes:
- A Colorado Limited Gaming Support License is preferred.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- 2-3 years’ experience preferable working in a fast-paced establishment.
- Colorado Driver’s License and good driving record are required.
- Ability to read, write and follow instructions and communicate with employees and customers in English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and experience at application and usage of hand and power tools, stationary power tools and potentially hazardous. chemicals cleaners, snow and ice removal equipment including pickup trucks, skid steer, forklift and man lift.
- Knowledgeable in hazardous material standards.
