What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey CAD Technician position at Maverick Engineering?
We are looking for a CAD Technician to work in our Survey department. As a Drafter, you will work with our surveyors and engineers performing the following tasks:
- Prepare a variety of surveys utilizing survey data collected in the field including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, subdivision plats, construction staking surveys, easements, right-of-ways, and as-built surveys.
- Read and interpret property legal descriptions and related survey records.
- Survey projects include residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, and oil and gas.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil3D; knowledge of Carlson a bonus.
- Technical school degree and/or coursework in land surveying or civil engineering related drafting preferred.
- Enthusiastic to contribute to a growing company and motivated to learn.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to complete projects within deadlines.
