Current Opportunity: Model Room Technician
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and honest professional to join Maverick Dental as a Model Room Technician. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in dental model work, strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain precision and consistency in all tasks.
This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in our production process, contributing directly to the quality and success of our restorations. Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting doctor’s prescriptions and preference
- Disinfect and cut impressions to be poured
- Confirm that all items needed are present and suitable to proceed with case
- Fabricate soft tissue models
- Pour impressions to produce models
- Trim models to proper height and level occlusion
- Drill and properly place pins in pindex models
- Cut out and bulk trim dies to makes dies removable
- Articulate models using bite registration sent with case or hand articulate to correct bite
- Place models on appropriate types of articulators depending on restoration, teeth #’s, and doctor’s preference
- Clean and label all appropriate items in case pans
- Distinguish and address any issues with case before it leaves the model department.
- Other duties as assigned by management

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
