Overview

Our social content studio is growing, and we need a creative, detail-oriented, and highly efficient Social Video Content Editor to help us take things to the next level. 

Over the past year our client roster has more than doubled, and we want someone to join us in elevating our post-production workflows and videos across the board. We need someone who understands social pacing, culture and most importantly, how to stop the scroll through high-impact visual storytelling. This is an incredible entry level opportunity for someone who thrives in and understands social video, full stop.

THE WORK:

• Social-First Editing: Execute high-level video editing across multiple clients, ensuring every piece of content is optimized for social platforms and audience engagement.
• Asset Management: Oversee the organization of all captured media, ensuring files are properly backed up, tagged, and ready for distribution.
• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with our team of in-house Content Creators and Creative Director to push the boundaries of what social content can look like. 
• Trend Integration: Stay current on social media trends and platform best practices to inform your editing style and elevate overall content quality.
• Participate in monthly creative kickoffs to stay aligned with project vision and strategy. 
• Quality Control: Proactively troubleshoot technical issues and details both big and small, from color grading to spelling and punctuation on captions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years of post production experience, specifically within the social media landscape.
• APPLICATIONS WITHOUT A REEL OR PORTFOLIO WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
• A deep understanding of social platforms, storytelling formats, and how to drive engagement.
• A diverse portfolio showcasing innovative, high-impact social content. 
• A proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, scrappy startup environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to handle complex asset management.
• Obsessed with speed and quality, able to push for great work while adapting to tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
• Bonus points for After Effects and motion graphics skills.
