Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning equipment, and other mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct appliance repair and installation, including kitchen equipment such as ovens, dishwashers, and refrigeration units.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Operate company vehicles for maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and manuals to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Knowledge of HVAC system repair, air conditioning units, refrigeration technology, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
- Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), equipment repair, and equipment maintenance procedures.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients when necessary.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely.
- Leadership qualities that support teamwork and continuous improvement in maintenance processes.
