About the Position

Maverick Car Company is looking for an experienced Title & Deal Processing Specialist to join our Administration & Finance team.

This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vehicle titles, registrations, and deal paperwork for our retail, wholesale, and vehicle purchase transactions.

This is not an entry-level administrative position. Previous automotive dealership title clerk experience is required.

What You'll Do

• Process retail and wholesale vehicle titles
  

• Prepare and submit title and registration paperwork to the DMV
  

• Process out-of-state title and registration transactions
  

• Monitor outstanding titles and follow up on missing or delayed titles
  

• Process vehicle sales and purchase files through final closure
  

• Review deal jackets for accuracy and completeness
  

• Verify required signatures, documents, and supporting paperwork
  

• Process trade documentation
  

• Create and maintain files for newly acquired vehicles
  

• Ensure titles are properly assigned and processed
  

• Communicate with DMV, lenders, customers, and internal team members regarding title and registration matters
  

• Identify and resolve title or documentation issues
  

• Maintain accurate title and deal records
  

• Assist with inventory and service invoice processing
  

• Provide administrative support to the Controller and Administration & Finance team as needed
  

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Previous automotive dealership title clerk experience
  

• Strong knowledge of vehicle title and registration processes
  

• Experience working with DMV documentation and requirements
  

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  

• Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
  

• Ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines simultaneously
  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  

• Ability to identify and resolve issues independently
  

• Ability to work effectively with sales, finance, inventory, accounting, customers, lenders, and DMV personnel
  

Preferred Experience

• Idaho DMV title and registration processes
  

• Retail and wholesale deal processing
  

• Out-of-state title transactions
  

• DealerSocket or similar dealership management systems
  

• Lender title requirements
  

• Trade paperwork
  

• Deal jacket auditing and closing
