- Strategic thinker with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to balance negotiations with suppliers and in-depth cost analysis.
- Adaptable, able to shift focus between long-term sourcing strategy and immediate cost challenges.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, product-focused environments.
- Project Management experience and/or inventory management is a plus.
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Utilize procurement strategies that align with business objectives, cost targets, and quality standards.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to optimize pricing, lead times, and reliability.
- Review of vendor and client contracts and agreements, ensuring company and project priorities.
- Communicate with the engineers on contract requirements and monitor vendors to drive continuous improvement.
- Cost Analysis & Financial Insight
- Analyze product and component cost structures to understand drivers of price variability.
- Develop and maintain database and reports to track fabrication progress, schedules, and shipments.
- Review and reconcile quotes, purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with management to ensure procurement decisions align with budget goals and margin objectives.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to support design development and product drawing release.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, cost analysis, or a related role.
- Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Proven vendor management skills in a manufacturing or product-driven environment.
- Proficiency with database systems and advanced Excel or data analysis tools.
