Job Overview

Our client is seeking a highly analytical Data Mapping & Integrity Analyst to support data quality, documentation, and system modernization initiatives for a legacy Licensure and Regulation System (LARS).

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and experience analyzing complex datasets. The candidate should be able to identify and document data fields, perform data integrity assessments, support reporting requests, and contribute to data migration and modernization activities.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills are essential for collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable data.

Primary Objectives

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive field mapping framework for the legacy system.

• Conduct regular data integrity and quality assessments to identify discrepancies, structural issues, and potential risks.

• Support ServiceNow and help desk requests related to reporting, data extraction, and system administration.

• Support system modernization by validating source-to-target data mapping, participating in vendor meetings, and assisting with data migration testing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Field Identification, Mapping & Documentation

• Identify, validate, and document existing fields within the legacy system.

• Analyze field relationships, dependencies, and usage across data extracts, correspondence, certificates, and API feeds.

• Update data mapping documentation to address inconsistencies and information gaps.

• Maintain a centralized data dictionary for organizational reference.

2. Data Integrity & Quality Analysis

• Perform SQL-based data profiling, validation checks, and trend analysis.

• Identify data anomalies and quality issues, document findings, and escalate concerns as needed.

• Track recurring issues and systemic data risks while recommending improvements and data governance standards.

• Collaborate with business teams to validate data usage and improve data entry practices.

3. Ticket & Reporting Support

• Respond to help desk and ServiceNow tickets within established timelines.

• Develop and execute SQL queries to generate accurate reports and data extracts.

• Validate requested data and provide clearly documented results.

• Maintain completed reports and SQL scripts in the designated repository.

4. System Modernization Support

• Participate in vendor meetings and communicate legacy system data requirements.

• Review vendor mapping documents and validate source-to-target field mappings.

• Support data migration activities, including data profiling, validation, issue resolution, and testing.

• Contribute to future system architecture, dashboards, reporting solutions, and long-term data governance initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced SQL skills, including querying, data profiling, and data integrity validation.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and data modeling.

• Experience in data mapping, data analysis, and technical documentation.

• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and multiple workstreams effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
