About the Role
This role involves managing the lifecycle of IT equipment, ensuring accurate inventory management, and providing support for equipment requests.
Responsibilities
- Process all equipment coming into or leaving IT
- Update Asset Inventory System
- Process Salvage equipment (removing the hard drives, doing entire process)
- Unpacking and packing boxes for equipment and preparing it for shipment to ACF or other DPS sites
- Pickup and Deliver equipment from DIS/Excel/DTS/ETC
- Complete any Service Now tickets on equipment requests (ie monitors, keyboards, mice, HDMI cables, etc)
- Reconcile all Inventory sheets (paper/electronic) on daily basis
- Validate all of the IT Operations Room equipment weekly to ensure inventory is up to date and correct
- Serves as backup contact for level 1 support
Qualifications
- Education in IT Support
Required Skills
- IT Experience: Required, 2 Years
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines: Required
- Excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills: Required
Preferred Skills
- Inventory Management experience: Highly desired
