Maven Transport Services is a high achieving motor carrier that specializes in last mile and white glove services. We work with logistic companies to deliver and install appliances in San Antonio, Tx and surrounding area.
Job Summary
We are looking for dependable, self-motivated Appliance Delivery and Installation Assistants to work alongside our drivers. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their appliances promptly, professionally, and with exemplary service. This position involves assisting with the delivery, setup, and troubleshooting of a wide range of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and more. Duties
- Assist with the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of appliances using a box truck.
- Support the installation process of various appliances.
- Read and interpret installation manuals to ensure proper setup and troubleshooting.
- Maintain clear communication with customers to coordinate delivery times and explain appliance features or safety instructions.
- Follow safety protocols during all phases of delivery and installation to prevent accidents or damage.
- Support field service activities by diagnosing issues, performing minor repairs, and ensuring appliances operate correctly before leaving the site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a field involving appliance installation.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Prior experience working with box trucks or similar delivery vehicles is preferred.
- Customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients.
- Basic electrical and gas experience and understanding of appliance systems are highly desirable.
- Physical ability to lift heavy appliances safely and perform manual tasks throughout the workday.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Contingent upon background check and drug screening.
Schedule and Compensation
We currently offer up to 4 days of work per week with an estimated 8-10 hour needed for completion. The wage rate is $180 per day upon fulfillment of route, with opportunity to earn more with advancement to driver. Pay is weekly (Friday) with the first week held. Please not this is a 1099 position (independent contractor/self-employed).
